SC34/WG4 Test of Live Meeting

Hi all,

 

I have no problems connecting to Live Meeting – I access it using the installed app on Windows XP.

 

I do lack an “IRC-kindof-chat” for all users, but maybe that has to be enabled separately. I think it would be of great value to have an open channel/chat that all participants can see.

Excellent.  I’ll try the Chrome browser tomorrow; that should get us success on four of the five major browsers ( IE, FF, Safari and Chrome ) … 

 

I’m still interested in knowing if anyone on a UNIX/Linux box was successful; I don’t have either of those at home/work to test on …

This is a test for for SC34's Work Group 4. Ideally we'll be able to use this service to assist in document review during our teleconferences.

I'd encourage WG4 members to connect to this meeting ( it will be available for 12 hours starting at 4PM Pacific ) to ensure that there are no connectivity problems.

If you do run into problems, please email me at ShawnV at microsoft.com with your issue.

If the LM test experience is unacceptable, naturally we'll try to find an alternative.
