Here is my proposed response to this defect report which correctly points out that our examples are not using the correct percentage syntax for the strict conformance class.

Also, a question was raised asking us to verify that this was indeed intended to be a percentage value; the percentage is the correct data type here.

DR 09-0106 - PML: Errors in examples
Part 1, §19.5.44 will be updated as follows:
19.5.44          from (From)
 This element specifies an x/y co-ordinate to start the animation from.
[Example: Consider a shape with an animation sequence that needs to start at a certain coordinate. The <from> element should be used as follows:

<p:animScale>

  <p:cBhvr>

    <p:cTn> ... </p:cTn>

    <p:tgtEl>

      <p:spTgt spid="4"/>

    </p:tgtEl>

  </p:cBhvr>

  <p:from x="100%000" y="100%000"/>

  <p:to x="80%000" y="100%000"/>

</p:animScale>
end example]
Parent Elements

animMotion (§19.5.4); animScale (§19.5.6)

Attributes

Description

x (X coordinate)

This attribute describes the X coordinate.

The possible values for this attribute are defined by the ST_Percentage simple type (§20.1.10.40).

y (Y coordinate)

This attribute describes the Y coordinate.

The possible values for this attribute are defined by the ST_Percentage simple type (§20.1.10.40).

[Note: The W3C XML Schema definition of this element's content model (CT_TLPoint) is located in §A.3. end note]
Part 1, §19.5.88 will be updated as follows:
19.5.88          to (To)
This element specifies the target location for an animation motion or animation scale effect
[Example: Consider an animation with a "light speed" entrance effect.

<p:animScale>

  <p:cBhvr>

    <p:cTn id="9" dur="200" decel="100000" autoRev="1" fill="hold">

      <p:stCondLst>

        <p:cond delay="600"/>

      </p:stCondLst>

    </p:cTn>

    <p:tgtEl>

      <p:spTgt spid="4"/>

    </p:tgtEl>

  </p:cBhvr>

  <p:from x="100%000" y="100%000"/>

  <p:to x="80%000" y="100%000"/>

</p:animScale>
end example]
