The question came up last week as to whether MS Word 2007 ever wrote DrawingML in documents, or it always wrote VML. I can't remember exactly who asked, so I'm emailing the whole list - the answer is that Word 2007 only ever used VML, and never made an attempt to put DrawingML into documents (in MCE or otherwise).
