Hi all,

 

I think Dave’s point is valid – and the answer would be that unless you are able to connect to the IRC-channel, you cannot benefit from it. Therefore no discussions should take place on the channel.

 

I do think, btw, that if someone sets up an IRC-channel for the next call, a transcript of it should be appended to the meeting minutes.

Hi Mohamed, (and all)

 

I thought about it as well as we were having the teleconference. I think it would be a really good idea to have the option of using an IRC-channel during our teleconferences.

Looks good to me

At least I raised the question at the beginning of the conference to have an IRC channel (or something similar) and Murata San says it didn't manage to have one for this telcon, but probably for next (Please correct me if I'm wrong Murata San)

I thing it should be minuted

Again, I ask heartfully for such mechanism so we can 

1) Authentificate our presence
2) Exchange links
3) Catch up in case we are distracted few minutes during this long 2h telcon
4) Asking the attention of the conviener to ask a question the current subject without interupting the current spokee
etc.
