Shouldn't we log a new defect report for adding macros to 29500? I don't believe macros are currently part of the standard ( I could easily be wrong here ).

Subject: Reopening DR 09-0164: Macros, ActiveX and media types
Dear colleagues,
I am afraid that we have to reopen DR 09-0164 since we failed to consider the interactions of media types, macros, and ActiveX.
In Stockholm, we closed DR 09-0164 but we decided to register three media types as below:
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.document
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.document
In my understanding, MIME entities of these media types do not contain macros. Document containing such macros are required to have different file extensions and different media types. So, we need three more media types such as
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml-macro.document
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml-macro.document
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml-macro.document
For this reason, I believe that the table in 11.3.1, Part 1 has to be
revised: in addition to the macro-free wml media type, we need application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml-macro.document.
On the other hand, MIME entties of these media types may contain ActiveX programs. Such documents have OPC parts of the type "application/vnd.ms-office.activeX+xml". Am I right?
Note: This means that we have to first register "application/vnd.ms-office.activeX+xml".
See DR 09-0167.
Cheers,
Makoto
