Again, I'm writing this mail on behalf of the Japanese SC34 mirror.

Japan proposes to create an amendment of ISO/IEC 29500-1 for a better support of Japanese text layout requirements as well as character-checking requirements.  The attached document will soon become a WG4 numbered document.
