I tried to log in the PURL web site, and failed.  From wikipedia, I learned

The PURL concept is used in the w3id.org, that will replace the old
PURL-services and PURL-technologies — they are frozen (closed and in 2016
exists only to maintain existing links).

I am afraid that I have to create a new URL at w3id.org, but I still have
more than
24 hours.
