Oops, let me try again.

The solution proposed by the submitter significantly extends strict
sml.{xsd,rnc} without touching transitional sml.{xsd,rnc}.  In other 
words, S is significantly extended while T is not.

I do not have strong opinions, but I would like people to think about
this issue in advance.  Interesting topic for Berlin!
