Yes, technically past archives can be recreated from mbox mailbox
backup. I have already asked our sysadmins about this possibility and
I'm waiting for answer, but I expect that this should not be problem.

What will be needed for putting old e-mails into a web archive is a
backup of all past e-mails in the mbox format. I can extract this info
from my email client, but it might be possible that I have deleted very
few emails by accident. So if ECMA (or someone else) can provide more
authoritative backup of old emails it will be better. But if not, I
think that my folder should be good enough.
