Proposed draft for the DIS 30114-2

Maybe I have overlooked something, but does there need to be some explanation as to why there is a non-normative reference to 29500-3 in the Bibliography? 30114-2 uses the “foreign OPC part” extension method, but as far as I’m aware this is fully specified in 29500-2 and is not mentioned at all in the current edition of 29500-3, so I’m not sure that a reference to 29500-3 is helpful, especially as there is no mention of MCE in the text of this draft. The Foreword refers anyone reading this text to 30114-1, which contains a reference to 29500-3, which may well be sufficient.

Attached please find my proposed draft for the

DIS 30114-2.

 

I find a conflict between the diagram for the relationships

used in this standard and the rest of this standard.  The

diagram has a relationship from Character Checking Condition

parts to to-be-validated parts.  But it is defined nowhere

in the rest.

 

To address this conflict, I introduced a relationship type

in Annex B, and changed the markup for specifying the id of

the relationship.  I tracked the changes required for

addressing the conflict.

 

This draft is based on a new templates from JTC1.  It is

linked at the bottom of this page:

Using this template, I incorporated all changes agreed in

Prague.
