Annex I -- Re: My personal draft based on WD 3.1 (OPC)

Murata-san,

I have started by tackling Annex I.  I was surprised that my first
reaction was that it was actually more awkward to read than the table
format because of all the empty space and repetitive boilerplate that
made it hard to pick out the kernel of each statement.

My review has been limited to word-smithing and an attempt to make the
individual guidelines easier to read.  I have not been through the
earlier tables to determine what is missing, but suspect that a lot of
the "package implementer" guidance actually applies to a format
designer too.

Attached are two files:

The first [AnnexI-cra.docx] is an extract of the annex from your
entire draft (hence the numbering A.xx and wrong fonts) on which I
made some general comments and specific corrections for typos and
grammatical problems.

The second [AnnexI-cra2.docx] is a version on which I added more
drastic changes, in line with some of the comments made on the first
one (and retained in this document).  I will also likely have fixed
more typos or grammatical awkwardness.

Hoping this helps at the face-to-face.  Please don't bother to respond
before then.  I am swamped with work at the moment, and will be hard
pressed to find time to work through the rest of WD3.1 -- which seems
more important than further iterations on this.
